Many, including myslef, have read their way into the Church; with An Essay on the Development of Christian Doctrine, Venerable John Henry Newman was said to have wriiten his way into the Church; Mr. Brubeck composed his way into the Church!I read my way. Did I mention that I love conversion stories or even snippets like this?

His sons are pretty darn talented too -- one played bass not so well, but he's a good bone player. The other is a drummer and did the most jaw-dropping solo ever on Take 5, obviously trying to outdo Joe Morello (he did). It lasted 15 minutes (I mean the solo!) and I really, really hope they recorded it. Actually I hope they recorded the whole thing.
